He’s been a member of the Ultimate Fighting Championship since 2005, and he’s a former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. Griffin rose to fame after winning the inaugural season of The Ultimate Fighter. He is a former Georgia police officer.
In the tournament finals, he faced and beat Stephan Bonnar in Forrest Griffin vs. Stephan Bonnar, generally regarded with launching the UFC’s present boom. After that, he worked as a coach on The Ultimate Fighter 7 with Quinton Jackson.
