Morgan joined CBS as a correspondent back in the year 2015. Morgan was named as the daily morning anchor for the 4:30-7:00 A.M. and 11:00 A.M. newscasts at CBS station KCBS in Los Angeles on April 17, 2019.

He also anchored select newscasts for CBS station WCBS in New York and the CBS Weekend News from Los Angeles during the COVID-19 outbreak, since sick CBS workers had prohibited the use of the CBS Broadcast Center according to his Wikipedia profile.
