David Finfrock Illness Details

@NBCDFW you need to give David Finfrock a few days off to get well…

His fans and followers were concerned about his health issue.

The situation had become so severe that it became one of NBCDFW.com’s most popular stories. resulted from viewers looking up a 2016 video that explained his coughing fits.

Later, Finfrock stated that it was not the flu. He caught a cold, which has settled in his chest, and this, combined with his mountain cedar allergies, is all it takes to cause a cough when he speaks.

“I feel great,” Finfrock said, “but talking is more of a problem, which is a problem for our viewers.”

Moreover, in late September of 2020, David Finfrock was bitten by a snake.

What Happened To David Finfrock?

When the snake bit David Finfrock, he was clearing ragweed at the Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center in Cedar Hill.

Finfrock, who owns a ranch in North Texas, said he had been warned by rattlers before, but this one didn’t give him a warning before biting him through his jeans.

It’s definitely #2020
I was volunteering at Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center pulling up ragweed this morning when a big rattlesnake bit me. It must not have injected much venom and doesn’t hurt much. But I will be at the RR for 6 hours of observation.

He claimed to have seen the large snake slither away and estimated it to be about 4 feet long.

He claimed that the strike didn’t hurt all that much and that he’d had worse mesquite thorn punctures, but he knew he needed to be checked out at the ER anyhow.

Fortunately, the snake did not inject much venom, if any at all, and Finfrock was sent home to rest a few hours later.
