After the intensive search of four days involving over 80 people, Jared Hembree’s body was finally discovered on Sunday.

Grand Teton National Park is a national park in Wyoming, United States, located in the northwest corner of the state, covering almost 18 million acres (73,000 square kilometers) and is one of the world’s biggest intact mid-latitude temperate ecosystems.

Jared Hembree is described as having brown hair and brown eyes and being 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighing 170 pounds. He was last spotted wearing a green t-shirt and black slacks and carrying a black rucksack.

Hembree had gone missing since 21 October; the hunt for Jared Hembree, a 26-year-old Texas man, began on Thursday when park officials got a call of concern “after an incident with him outside the park.”

According to McClatchy News, Hembree was last seen on October 21 near Game Warden Point in Moran, Wyoming. According to the National Park Service, his car was abandoned at the Game Warden Point parking lot.

Jared Hembree’s family and friends have our sympathy, as do all those involved in the search.

Hembree was the fourth person in Jackson Hole to go missing this year. Both Gabrielle “Gabby” Petito and Robert Lowery, whose unrelated cases went missing in early September and were later discovered dead.

Missing Man Found Dead In Grand Teton National Park

The body of the missing 26-year-old Texas man Jared Hembree was discovered today in Grand Teton National Park by search teams. His body was discovered near Uhl Hill in the park’s eastern section.

Hembree’s remains were discovered by Rangers, who arrived on the spot. What happened is being investigated by the National Park Service and the Teton County Sheriff’s Office.

Over eighty people have been involved in the four-day intensive search since October 21. Staff from the Grand Teton National Park, the Teton County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO), Teton County Search and Rescue (TCSAR), Teton County Idaho Search, and Rescue (TCISAR), the Civil Air Patrol, and Wyoming Highway Patrol members were also participating in the search.

TCSAR provided a helicopter and a drone. A fixed-wing airplane from the Civil Air Patrol was used to assist. Horse teams and search and rescue dog teams were also involved.

After all of this, he was discovered dead in the park; however, park guards did not specify how or in what condition the body was discovered.

The family has lost their 26-year-old son forever. We can only imagine how they felt when they discovered the body.

Furthermore, people are exasperated, as he is not the only one to go missing in Grand Teton Park; within 2 months, four more tourists had gone missing whose body was discovered dead later.
